Effective March 3, 2026, DHL will temporarily apply a High-Risk Area Delivery Surcharge of JPY 5,000 per shipment to all cargo to and from Israel.

Effective March 5, 2026, the same JPY 5,000 per shipment High-Risk Area Delivery Surcharge will be temporarily applied to all cargo to and from Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan.

Due to the current situation in the Middle East (including airspace closures in multiple markets), DHL’s flight operations to and from the region are being disrupted. As a result, shipments destined for or originating from the affected countries may experience service delays.
