Notice Regarding DHL Demand Surcharge Adjustment

According to the latest notice from DHL, to accommodate increased shipping demand during the peak season, DHL will apply a Demand Surcharge to international shipments from October 1, 2026 to February 5, 2027.

 

For shipments originating from Japan, the applicable surcharge varies by destination as follows:

The Demand Surcharge will be calculated based on the origin and destination of the shipment as follows:

 

Chargeable Weight (kg) × Applicable Regional Rate (JPY/kg)

 

In addition, a fuel surcharge will also be applied to the Demand Surcharge based on the chargeable weight.

 

If you plan to use DHL shipping services during this period, we recommend checking the applicable surcharge for your destination in advance and planning your shipment accordingly.
